many people have told me privately that they can&#039;t believe we acted to quickly on what could have seemed like a random comment from odin.  and some of those people are the very same people who want to believe that odin &quot;outgrew&quot; his prematurity soon after we left the nicu.  i don&#039;t know if you read the link to &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18083589&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;late vitreous hemorrhage&lt;/a&gt;, but the &lt;i&gt;mean&lt;/i&gt; age of onset was 8.4 years old!  yeesh.
