College Ain't Free

Walking people, walking.

I don’t have any idea who signed the approval form for this, but apparently it happened. The boy is walking.

Well technically, it’s mostly behind the super-sweet alligator walker thingy in the video. Though, he has actually taken one or two free-standing steps, but I am unable to provide you with any video proof of that, yet.

On a related note, we don’t acknowledge when Jack falls down, unless it looks like he’s actually hurt himself. The result is that when he falls or bonks his head, which is pretty damn often,  he just dusts himself off and keeps on truckin’.

    Hello-

I found a link to you site through the preemie experiment. Hope you don’t mind me reading your blog. I also have a son that was born at 27 weeks. Congratulation on this milestone! My son is now 13 months actual, so I am hopeful that he will be walking soon, too.

Hi- I found your blog through another preemie parent. Your son was born the same day as my son was and he was a 27 weeker! I was due on 11-22-06. I haven’t had a chance to read through all the prior posts but it looks like Jack is doing amazing. My son, Jaymin, starting taking his first steps around the same age and is now full on walking (for alittle over a month now). It’s amazing how quick they grow and to watch “a preemie” develop into a perfect normal boy. Best wishes and please feel free to follow his blog as well. Thanks for sharing. Tracey
