We did the Ferber method. Basically leaving them for five minutes, then pick them up. Then leave them for ten. Pick them up. Then leave them for fifteen. Pick them up, etc. It worked well for us and took about two weeks. Alice was a wreck. I was more.... sanguine and took to the bottle for comfort. Not the baby's, ut the baby daddy's bottle. Don't worry. You'll do fine and so will he. CIO, eh?
