I tried a new strategy. I didn’t come home until 9…and it worked! The kid was asleep and Arch won’t tell me how long he cried for.

Is it weird that I’m checking back daily for results in Operation CIO?
As a new mother, I couldn’t fathom ever letting my child cry/wail/heave in desperation. And then? Then I realized a well-rested Mommy made everything else that was about to come my way MUCH easier.
You’re nearing the end of the “training” period–in my experience it was a week or so before the kid “got it.”

CIO could also stand for Chief Infant Officer. A fitting title for a new mommy totally in charge of the situtation. Nice work.
hmm… when i hated my ex husband i would stay at work till 11…family business but really JK.
right about Mom - next is Mom again i think as i am noticing a trend
