You'll have good nights and bad nights. For us, the most important things was consistency. Henry very quickly learned how to manipulate us. For instance: he knows if he pitches the binky out of the crib, we'll come in and bink him back up. We now put him in the crib with 3 or 4 binkys. If he pitches them all out, well, that's his problem not ours. For me, it was quite a moment to recognize that my 7 month old son was manipulating me. Me! I'M THE MOMMY!
